Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Tourico Holidays Japan is currently seeking a part time receptionist and sales support team member to join the team in the Tokyo office. The person will need to be used to speaking on the phone in both English and Japanese in order to support office and sales phone calls. The role can certainly lead into a full time position and have potential to travel to visit clients as the role develops. 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to overall phone calls and emails related to the inquiries/claims from clients
  • Handle clients’ inquiries effectively in a professional and timely manner
  •  Work closely with sales team and support communications to clients with language translation
  • Assists with coordinating client meetings and accompanying with sales team
  • Part time role : 3 days a week (24 hours) or 6 hours a day (MON-FRI)

Job Requirement

  • 1+ years’ experience in client services or sales
  • Working experience in local travel industry will be a plus
  • Business level of written and verbal communication skills required (Japanese)
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle customer requests and interest in problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
