Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Representative, AP Rep, Clerk


This position is responsible for processing supplier invoices, preparing payments for suppliers, and completing all tasks assigned to the Accounts Payable department in a timely manner as specified by management.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing Reservation Administration/Sold Out Agent duties, including reservation queues.
  • Processing invoices received by suppliers within the timeframe set by Tourico.
  • Payments:  responsible for submitting payments while ensuring that credit limits are not exceeded, payments are not duplicated nor exceed the amount invoiced.
  • Ensure checks are prioritized, mailed out accordingly, and filed appropriately.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls from Accounts Payable Call Loop within a timely manner.
  • Answer email inboxes assigned to you on a daily basis. 
  • Research and process all rate discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations received.
  • "Special Projects."  This entails any project deemed necessary by supervisors/management.

  • 1-2 years accounting experience preferred.

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) or Trilingual (Portuguese) preferred.
